We went to Artscape (again)!

Every summer, we take our students on creative outings around Baltimore. A couple weeks ago, we went over to Artscape 2016! If you haven't been to Artscape before, it is America's largest free arts festival. There are plenty of things to see, smell, eat, and touch.  This year's theme was SPACE!

A starting point for interpretation, space is tangible, literal and metaphorical, and spans across all disciplines. The vast STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics)-related organizations and businesses within the region are plentiful, and with pop culture’s fascination with all things intergalactic, this theme provides attendees an exciting level of both entertainment and education.

The National Aquarium had a nautical paint by number as well as giant jellies made of recycled materials.

Wouldn't be a trip to Artscape without a visit to the food trucks / stands.

Also, we pet dogs.

Until next year, Artscape!
